Event Overview
Come along and get up close and personal with the latest cinema primes from Gecko-Cam.  Based in Germany, Gecko-Cam has used their considerable expertise gained from servicing and repairing cinematographic equipment to produce their own set of professional video and cinema lenses.

From the Gecko Genesis series of cinema primes we will have the Genesis G35 and the new Genesis G35 Vintage 66 for you to try plus a projector to show the lenses in a projection.

Seeing is believing

These full frames lens have a more vintage vibe to their image, rather than the ultra-crisp look and Gecko-Cam claims they are similar to the Canon K35 with a price point closer to ZEISS CP.3s.
As always the only way to find out is to come along and try them for yourself.

Held in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere you can chat with other attendees to understand if these lenses fit your requirements and what they think about the competition. This event will equip you with the practical knowledge and hands-on experience to know whether investing in these lenses is worth it, which accessories are best and which to avoid.

The session will start with a short presentation from Gecko-Cam’s Sales Director Michael Zeisse followed by a Q&A session with plenty of time for you to get your hands on the lenses.

Equipment being demonstrated includes the Genesis G35 and the new Genesis G35 Vintage 66 along with a projector to show the lenses in a projection.

You will leave this session with:
  • Which of the lenses is best for you
  • If you prefer the ‘vintage’ look
  • Whether they are worth the money
  • Answers to your specific questions regarding these lenses
Who should attend:
This event is suitable for anyone who is interested in seeing the Gecko-Cam lenses perform and how they compare against the competition. It is particularly relevant to people who are looking at   purchasing or specifying a cinema prime lens for video production in the field or studio. Rental houses, Independent filmmakers, Cinematographers, DoP's, and freelancers.

This event is a must for anyone interested in full-frame cinema prime lenses
