With a similar form factor as the popular FS-7/M2 , 6K Full-Frame sensor delivering 15 Stops of dynamic range, dual base ISO, electronic variable ND filter , fast hybrid AF and S-Cinetone™ colour science, the FX9 is an ideal camera for documentary, cinema, and live event production. It is also Netflix approved.
 
The specs of this camera look good however, you can only judge if it’s right for you by trying it out for yourself.
 
Held in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere you can chat with other attendees to understand if this camera fits your requirements and what they think about the competition. This event will equip you with the practical knowledge and hands-on experience to know whether investing in this camera is worth it, which accessories are best and which to avoid.
 
The day is structured as a walk-in session so you can spend as much or as little time as you feel you need to get the most from the event. Equipment being demonstrated includes the Sony PXW-FX9 production model plus a range of lenses and Vocas accessories.
 
We are only running one session from 10:00 to 13:00 with plenty of time for you to get your hands on the kit.

You will leave this session with:

• A clear understanding of how the FX9 differs from the FS7/M2
• Advice on the benefits it offers over the competition
• How the dual native ISO gives extra flexibility
• Hands-on experience of using the FX9 with appropriate accessories
