Event Overview
If you’re an obs doc self-shooter, more than likely you honed your skills on a Sony Z1 many moons ago or more recently perhaps on a Sony PMW-200 or a Canon XF305. Since these light, portable handheld camera days, our options have only got bigger in order to accommodate better lenses, S-log, Slo-mo, 4K recording etc; Until now that is…

In this Webinar, Obs Doc Self-Shooter Sarah Stevenson will share her experiences of shooting with Sony’s new handheld Z280 – which as she puts it, is ‘everything you love about the FS7 (and more!), but in a compact PMW-200 body’. Using her first-hand experience from the field, she’ll answer your questions about the pros and cons of shooting obs doc scenes with the new Z280. Sarah will compare it to Sony’s last camera offering of this size, the PMW-200 and the obs doc workhorse the PXW-FS7.  She will also share her thoughts on the Z280’s brand new features which could revolutionize the way you shoot your obs doc in the future.

Starting at 11:00 and lasting approximately 45 mins, you’ll have the opportunity to ask your own questions live, or in advance.

In this webinar Sarah covers:
  • Factors affecting gear selection
  • Pre-production tests
  • Features that impressed
  • Challenges and how I overcome them
  • How the camera coped in the conditions
  • Audio recording
and much more… Who should attend:
This webinar is suitable for anyone who is interested in Sony’s new XDCAM camcorders especially the Sony PXW-Z280. It is particularly relevant to people who are specifying a compact camera for run & gun type shooting with wireless capability i.e. corporate, documentary and event production.
